It is time to vote on last Friday's game but before we do a quick reminder of how the game went:
The Portland Timbers lost in back to back games for the first time all year and for the first time lost by more than one goal. Caleb Porter tried channel his inner Macgyver with the line up by using scotch tape and bubble gum but it didn't come out as he had hoped. Portland looked lost for the first 20 minutes of the game and in those twenty minutes gave up two early goals.
Unlike last year the Portland Timbers continued to fight and pulled one goal back thanks to a great long range shot from Darlington Nagbe. However the Timbers were dealt another blow when Ben Zemanski was shown a straight red for a studs up tackle on Ned Grabavoy. Portland's set piece defending let in another two goals before Jose Valencia forced Nic Rimando into a save that he was unable to handle. Sal Zizzo followed up the play and knocked in the rebound for Portland's late consolation goal.
