World Cup 2014 continues and CONCACAF continues its domination of all challengers. Not only did Mexico win in their Group A game over Cameroon ages ago on Friday, but yesterday Costa Rica won an important 3-1 victory over Uruguay. Plus, American referee Mark Geiger put in the first good shift in charge of the game so far this World Cup, making the right calls and avoiding the controversies of the first two match days.
Up next from CONCACAF is scrappy Honduras, who will take on the football world's schizophrenic giant, France, this afternoon. Then, finally, the US will take on Germany tomorrow in a game that nobody seems to feel great about, but everyone is looking forward to. The US take on Ghana tomorrow.
