World Cup 2014 Open Thread: Day 11 ['Merica!]

There are three match today, but who cares about the first two? Belgium-Russia may look like a good match up, but the real magic happens at 3:00 PM when the USA take on Portugal and the unfortunately handsome Christiano Ronaldo.

For the USA, a win would put them in the driver's seat of Group G, a single point away from besting Germany and advancing to the round of 16. For Portugal, a loss would mean elimination and another tournament in which the skilled side came up short.
