The Portland Timbers held a closed training session this morning ahead of tomorrow's preseason match against the Chicago Fire. With the first team having played in Sunday's match against the Whitecaps, the Timbers spent today prepping their second XI for tomorrow.
Working at the team's Beaverton training facility, the Timbers started the day off with a video session indoors before coming outside for a pair of fifteen minute rondos. The team then moved on to a series of agility drills, run by fitness coach Nick Milonas. From there the Timbers moved to a series of 7v3 possession drills that carried the team through until the press were removed from the pitch.
