Groups E and F close out Round 2 of Group play, as France and Colombia kick things of at 10:00am, while Brazil and Spain and England and Mexico face off at 1:00pm, and South Korea takes on Costa Rica to close out the day at 4:00pm.

France opened up group place by beating UEFA rival England 1-0, after Eugenie Le Sommer's 29th minute goal proved to be all they needed to capture all three points, while Colombia got a late equalizer from Daniela Montoya in the 83rd minute to steal points from Mexico.

Brazil saw two records fall in their opener, as Formiga became the oldest player to score a goal in the World Cup at 37, while Marta set the all time goal-scoring record with her 15th goal over four World Cups in a 2-0 victory over South Korea.  Vicky Losada put Spain up in the 13th minute, only to see Costa Rica equalize almost immediately, while Spanish captain Vero Boquete became more assertive as the match wore on.

Thorns forward Jodie Taylor did not see any action in England's 1-0 loss to France, while the English attack was stagnant for much of the match and were once again unable to defeat their rivals, who they have not beaten since 1974.  Mexico comes out of their match with Colombia disappointed to not get the victory, after Veronica Perez put them up in the 36th minute, saw the match equalized late, then had the game-winner called back.

South Korea came out looking flat in their first match, after playing the United States strong in their last tune-up match, failing to generate much of an attack, with only 2 shots on goal for the match.  Costa Rica fought hard and earned a well-deserved point from Spain, as Raquel Rodriguez Cendeno easily beat the 'keeper off of the restart from the Spanish goal.
