Women's World Cup Day 12 Open Thread

The Round of 16 continues, as England takes on Norway at 2:00pm, followed by the United States against Colombia at 5:00pm.

Jodie Taylor and England face off against fellow UEFA competitor Norway on Monday in Ottawa.  England finished second in Group F, though level with France with 6 points, after defeating Mexico and Colombia following an opening match loss to France.  Norway also finished atop their group, though behind Germany on goal differential, drawing Germany and defeating Ivory Coast and Thailand.  The winner of this match faces Canada in Vancouver.

Alex Morgan, Tobin Heath, and the United States meet Colombia in Edmonton on Monday.  The United States finished atop the "Group of Death" after defeating Australia and Nigeria and finishing level with Sweden.  Colombia finished third in Group F after a surprising victory over France, a draw to Mexico, and a loss to England.  The winner of this match meets China in the Quarterfinals in Ottawa.
