Day 2 of the 2015 Women's World Cup features two compelling matches out of Group B, as Norway faces Thailand at 10:00 am, followed by Germany versus Ivory Coast at 1:00 pm at TD Place Stadium in Ottawa, Ontario.

Norway is the favorite going into their match.  Appearing in each edition of the Women's World Cup, and winning in all 1995, they didn't make it out of the Group Stage in 2011, but were included in a group that featured Brazil and Australia.  Thailand makes their debut in the World Cup after finishing 5th in last year's Women's Asian Cup and are a bit of a mystery, as struggled they through qualification, losing to China and South Korea by a combined 11-0.

Angerer backstops the two-time World Cup Champions (2003, 2007) and the top ranked team in the world against the World Cup-newcomers Ivory Coast, who placed third in the African Championships to qualify for the Cup.  Currently ranked #67 in the March FIFA Rankings, Ivory Coast looks to play spoiler against the Germans, who cruised their way to qualification after winning all 10 of their qualification matches, while scoring 62 goals and only allowing 4.
