John Spencer is a Coach (Again)

I just read on sbisoccer.com that Spencer is joining the Colorado Rapids as an assistant coach "with an attacker's mindset". Apparently, he played with Pablo Mastroeni for a while when in MLS himself. Who knew?

While it's a bummer he is back to assistant coach rather than coach, it's always hard to see someone get a demotion, this could be good for him. Why Mastroeni is still their head coach is a head scratcher - should he go another half season where the Rapids look like the weakest team in the west, Spencer might just get his second chance as a head coach.
