MLS Cup Playoffs Match Thread: Eastern Conference Finals

MLS: Eastern Conference Championship-Toronto FC at Montreal Impact Dan Hamilton-USA TODAY Sports

Look, Eastern Conference teams, it would be great if you could just get through this with no injuries, no suspensions, and a heart full of confidence that you could beat the Seattle Sounders in the MLS Cup Final.

Yeah, that’s right people who maybe were not paying attention on Sunday: the Sounders are in the final after beating the Colorado Rapids 3-1 on aggregate in the Western Conference Final.

Of course, there is one very material difference for Timbers fans when it comes to picking who to root for in today’s match; if Toronto FC win the East, then they will host the Final, but if the Montreal Impact win then the Final will be Seattle at CenturyLink Park.
