MLS Cup Final Match Thread: Seattle Sounders at Toronto FC [5:00]

MLS: Seattle Sounders FC Training Dan Hamilton-USA TODAY Sports

Well, this heartbreaker of a postseason is just about over and for fans of the Portland Timbers it is worth watching in case there is one last twist of the knife to come. With Toronto FC hosting the Seattle Sounders in the final, there is only one acceptable outcome for most soccer fans here is South Cascadia: a landslide victory for the Reds.

Toronto, the conventional wisdom says, are the favorites and with Giovinco and a fully functional Jozy Altidore leading the line it is hard to argue too much with that. Still, the Sounders have been rock-solid on defense all year in the cutthroat West (with some notable exceptions) and they have got some attacking firepower of their own in Newcomer of the Year Nicolas Lodeiro and Rookie of the Year Jordan Morris.

We will be watching with bated breath, so join us on this excruciating day in the comments or on Twitter.
