The Portland Timbers are up for their third match of the week today as they take on the San Jose Earthquakes. With an in form San Jose coming to town, the Timbers will need to be on top of their collective game as they do not want to repeat falling on their faces again this week. And there is no rest for the weary as they play this third match in seven days. Injuries continue to mount but hopefully some that have been away will start to return in the coming days. Won't help them tonight unfortunately.

The Timbers continue to struggle as injuries and poor form are hurting the defending champions.
