The Portland Thorns added another player to their roster in the signing of Meg Morris. Morris played college soccer at the University of North Carolina and had a brief stint with Sky Blue FC during the 2014 Season.

THORNS FC SIGN DEFENDER MEG MORRIS
PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Thorns FC announced today that the club has signed defender Meg Morris. Per league and club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
"Since Meg has arrived in Portland she has impressed in many different ways," said Thorns FC head coach Mark Parsons. "She is a versatile player full of pace and energy, and will help provide depth in multiple positions."
Morris, 23, signed with Sky Blue FC in April 2014, and appeared in 12 matches (5 starts), tallying one assist in two seasons (2014-15) with the club. A Montclair, N.J., native she played collegiately at the University of North Carolina from 2010-13 and gained experience with the U.S. U-20 women's national team, participating in the 2010 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.
Thorns FC remain on the road, traveling to square off against the Boston Breakers on Sunday, May 1, at Jordan Field. Sunday'smatch kicks off at 2 p.m. (Pacific) with a live webstream at www.thornsfc.com.
