Let's Watch Some Soccer: Day 11

Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

While the European Championship continues at its breakneck pace, the Copa America is wrapping up its group stages and some big names are being knocked out. After Costa Rica and Paraguay were knocked out on Saturday, Sunday saw the biggest surprise of the tournament so far as Brazil were given the boot following a controversial 1-0 loss to Peru where the lone goal came off a hand-ball that would put Diego Maradona to shame, joining Haiti as the two sides eliminated from Group B.

Today's action starts off with some big teams playing in the Euros as Spain faces the Czech Republic, the Republic of Ireland faces Sweden, and Belgium faces Italy. Then, in the afternoon, Copa action continues as Mexico takes on Venezuela and Uruguay takes on Jamaica to round out Group C.
