After a lackluster 2-0 loss to open the tournament, the United States Men's National Team comes into today's match against an old foe, Costa Rica, knowing that a loss will put them out of the Western Hemisphere's most prodigious tournament with a game still to play. Costa Rica, meanwhile, are still trying to prove that they can replicate the form and counter attacking style that saw them make a run in the 2014 World Cup and they will be motivated to do so on US soil. Of course, the US don't have the day to themselves this time around, and it will be Colombia and Paraguay finishing off the evening's festivities and rounding out the Group A matches.
Now the first round of matches in the Copa America are over for every group and few teams have stood out, but with the second round of matches kicking off tonight, there is still plenty of soccer to be played.
