With the addition of defender Gbenga Arokoyo today, the Timbers were carrying one too many on their roster and needed to do some trimming. Defender Anthony Manning became that sacrificial lamb this afternoon.
Manning was unfortunately never able to see the field as a Timber. While he logged a decent amount of minutes for T2’s last campaign, he hasn’t really seen the field this season after being sidelined by injury.
