The news was similar in Canada, where viewership of TSN's broadcast rose 25 percent from last season.

According to Swedish news outlet Expressen, New York City FC have signed 26-year-old Swedish right-back Anton Tinnerholm from Malmo. Tinnerholm has 7 international appearances for Sweden, the last of which came in January of 2017.

The 33-year-old is coming off back-to-back 12-goal seasons and leaves the New England Revolution after being unable to lead them to a playoff appearance in either of his two seasons in Foxborough.
