The fourth round draw for the U.S. Open cup was held this morning, and in the last draw of the day - the Seattle Sounders will host the Timbers. The fourth round starts up on June 14th when MLS teams join the tournament.
It’ll be a busy 11 days when the Timbers face the Sounders. They’re home against Dallas on the 10, then away to Seattle for the Open Cup and then off to Colorado on the 17th and Minnesota on the 21st.
PTFC's USOC game in Tukwila (likely 6/13) will make a stretch in which PTFC plays five games in 16 days, including two against SEA. #RCTID

There will definitely have to be some rotation going on, with the fixture congestion. All draws are geographically based so it isn’t too much of a surprise that the Timbers would have to face the Sounders. This will be 1 of 3 meetings that the Timbers will have with their noisy neighbors to the north.
Still it’ll be a tough stretch of matches and it’ll be interesting to see how exactly Porter will rotate the team during this stretch.
