NWSL Announces Home Openers

Matches Gallery: Soccer Weekend

The NWSL has unveiled the schedule for the opening weeks of the season, and announced that the full schedule will be made available next Tuesday, February 20. The league press release also included the dates of the 2018 playoffs; the semifinals will be held the weekend of September 14, and the final will be Saturday, September 22.

The first match of the NWSL season will be a rematch of the 2017 championship, with the Thorns playing North Carolina away on March 24 at 12:30 PT in the Lifetime Game of the Week.

The following week, the Portland will head to Chicago for a 5:15 match against the Red Stars. Their home opener, against Orlando for the third year in a row, will be April 15 at 3:00 pm.
