Timbers Release 2018 Broadcast Schedule

The season is so close you can smell it!

With the regular season just 3 days away, the Portland Timbers have released their broadcast schedule for the 2018 term. All 34 matches will be televised including 12 nationally broadcast games.

Jake Zivin and Ross Smith return to the broadcast booth, along with on-field analyst Nat Borchers. They will hold down the fort during games broadcast on ROOT SPORTS, Fox 12, and PDX TV (KPDX, soon to be Fox 12+). Fox 12 is also the home for the Timbers weekly “Timbers In 30” program.

The Timbers’ 12 nationally televised games will be seen on: ESPN, FOX, FS1 and Univision.

As far as radio goes, games will be broadcast on 750/102.9 The Game and LaGranD 93.5/1150 AM. You can also catch select Timbers matches on Siriusxm FC Channel 57. Play by Play guy Keith Bleyer returns to the booth and will be joined by Brett Jacobs (former MLS assistant coach); Fletcher Johnston returns for his 8th season as host of pre-game, half time and post game shows.

Spanish language broadcasts will be handled by the team of Josue del Castillo (PbP) and Oscar Ramos, who will hold down the analyst side of the broadcast.

In addition to the match broadcasts, “Talk Timbers” will return to 750/102.9 The Game as a weekly show that airs on Wednesdays.
