Hello, fearless reader, and welcome to the first ever edition of Stumptown Footy’s PTFC Player of the Week. Every week, our staff will create a list of nominees of players from both top-flight PTFC teams who had good week. Then you, the reader, get to vote on who will ultimately be named Stumptown Footy’s PTFC Player of the Week.
We took into account matches played in the previous week (4/16-4/22), which in this case includes the Thorns’ 1-1 draw versus the Washington Spirit, and the Timbers’ 3-0 win over New York City FC.
This weeks nominees are Mallory Weber, Sebastian Blanco, Celeste Boureille, and Larrys Mabiala. Voting will close at 4 PM on Friday the 27th, so make sure to vote early and vote often!
