At Giovanni Savarese’s weekly press conference, he noted that center-back Liam Ridgewell will miss (at the least) two matches with a quad injury that he picked up in the early minutes of Saturday’s match against Los Angeles Football Club.
“Right now, for sure, we know that these next two weeks he’s not going to participate,” Savarese said. “Then, we’ll continue to evaluate him. What I can say is today he was feeling a lot better than before. Hopefully, he’s going to continue to feel better and better.”

While it’s noted that he’ll miss both Colorado away and LA Galaxy at home, he will be re-evaluated after the two weeks is up. He could either be cleared, or as it often happens with Ridgy, he may be out more than just two weeks.
That means that Julio Cascante and Bill Tuiloma will be fighting for the job of replacing Ridgewell in the back. They both have cases to be the starter, Cascante’s performance on the weekend against LAFC or Tuiloma who was the starting center-back until picking up a knock, which brought Ridgewell back to the starting XI.
