On Saturday night the Portland Timbers defeated the visiting Colorado Rapids 2-0. This match showcased a different look at the attack, starting Jeremy Ebobisse up top for the first time this season. He took full advantage of this opportunity to display his ability as a forward throughout the game. Ebobisse scored the game winner in the 45th minute off an assist by Sebastian Blanco. The attack continued to looked exciting in the second half, and another goal came from Diego Valeri in the 65th minute of play, which was also assisted by Blanco.
