Preseason isn’t but a few days old, but the start of the season isn’t that far off the horizon. Last year about this time, the Portland Timbers dropped their new, all-white, second strip — but this year it’s all about the primary home kit.
The Timbers released the kit in conjunction with Alaska Airlines, their ongoing kit sponsor. Here’s a look, modeled by Diego Valeri.

People have been clamoring for hoops, and it looks as though the wish has been granted. These are smart-looking kits — just look at Diego looking all majestic in the new green and gold — but they weren’t done yet: They also released the four goalkeeper kits for the 2019 season, thanks to the Timbers Kit Man, Sam Younie.
If today’s the big kit debut let’s not forget the GKs. @Jeff_Attinella1 likes the black, I’m digging the blue. Pattern wraps around the back and sleeves too. pic.twitter.com/ewscVISLzM

I’m partial to the blue and black kits myself. How about you?
So there you have it, brand new kits for the 2019 season.
