Soccer: NWSL Challenge Cup-North Carolina Courage vs Portland Thorns FC Jeffrey Swinger-USA TODAY Sports

Last night, the Portland Thorns battled the Utah Royals to a 1-1 draw, remaining unbeaten in the Fall Series. And while it might not be as sweet as the 3-0 victory they had the Royals last time, staying unbeaten isn’t too shabby.

So what do the Thorns think about their draw last night? Here are some choice quotes the Thorns shared from last night.

Defender Christen Westphal on the performance of the backline...

Thorns manager Mark Parsons on the good and the bad from last night...

Defender Emily Menges on what “Thorns Soccer” really means...
