Last night, the Portland Thorns battled the Utah Royals to a 1-1 draw, remaining unbeaten in the Fall Series. And while it might not be as sweet as the 3-0 victory they had the Royals last time, staying unbeaten isn’t too shabby.
It wasn’t a perfect 90 minutes for Portland (the first 10 minutes in particular were not great), but it was still a good enough performance that they now sit at the top of the NWSL Fall Series standings.
