After an epic tournament run without a loss in the books, the Timbers deserve this spot in the final. Goals on goals from several threats have propelled us here and I can’t think of a more confident manner for us to enter the tournament. The biggest prize on the line is the spot in the 2021 CONCACAF Champions League but let’s not sell short the fact that we won a unique trophy.
For Orlando, they’ve reached the final through fantastic attacking play from Nani, Tesho Akindele and Taylor Mueller. Like the Timbers, danger can come from several places in the attack with both Mueller and Nani notching multiple-goal games.
Our lineup shouldn’t change drastically and Williamson will most likely accompany Chara in the heart of midfield where they will face a stern test in Oriol Rosell and Junior Urso/Jhegson Mendez.
