The Portland Timbers announced on Monday that Sebastian Blanco underwent successful ACL surgery and is expected to return in about six months.

The Timbers midfielder tore his ACL on September 6 in Portland’s match against the Seattle Sounders. Blanco had two goals and five assists in nine regular season matches and was named the MLS is Back Tournament MVP back in August.
