Tobin Heath has signed with Manchester United who play in the FA Women’s Super League. Portland Thorns FC will retain Heath’s NWSL rights.
Heath, 32, is one of two players to play in every postseason match for the Thorns. She joined Portland Thorns in the NWSL’s inaugural season and has helped lead the Thorns to two NWSL Championships and one NWSL Shield.
Heath has played 70 regular season matches with Portland scoring 12 and assisting 24. She has made 168 appearances with the U.S. Women’s National Team contributing 33 goals and 40 assists. Heath is a two-time World Cup winner and two-time Olympic Champion with the USWNT.
