Angela Salem was today named to the NWSL Team of the Month for October. This is the third consecutive NWSL Team of the Month in which Salem has been included.
The Thorns only won one match in all of October but that win clinched the NWSL Shield for Portland. Salem patrolled the defensive midfield in all of the Thorns’ five matches during October, logging 412 minutes.
