In a day that has been filled with news for both Portland soccer clubs, the Portland Timbers officially revealed their new primary kit for the 2021 season.

The kit is an updated version of the club’s inaugural MLS primary kit from 2011 and combines that with elements of the 2019 striped jersey that sported a darker green. The kit also features chevrons down the middle of the shirt, a jock tag that displays “Soccer City USA” on the bottom left, and a “King of Club” design along the neck tape, a nod to the Timbers Army tifo from 2011.

Alaska Airlines remains the prominent sponsor across the front of the jersey for the Timbers. The company has been a jersey partner with the Timbers since Portland’s first season in 2011.

The club also has a new sleeve partner that they announced earlier today. The Timbers and Thorns both announced on Tuesday that they were entering a multi-year partnership with TikTok and that the sponsor will have their logo on the right sleeve of both jerseys for the 2021 season. You can read more about that partnership here.
