Thorns announce updated preseason roster

Portland Thorns FC sent out a press release on Tuesday with their updated preseason roster. The roster has had minimal changes, the only notable addition being Shelby Hogan, an undrafted goalkeeper out of Providence University. Thorns head coach Mark Parsons made note of the signing last month at the beginning of preseason training.

The press release also confirmed previously known dates for the 2021 season, including the Challenge Cup start date on April 9, opening day on May 15, the conclusion of the regular season on Oct. 30, the beginning of the expanded playoffs on Nov. 6, and the NWSL championship on Nov. 20.
