Four members of Portland Thorns FC were called up to the U.S. Women’s National Team on Tuesday. Crystal Dunn, Lindsey Horan, Becky Sauerbrunn and Sophia Smith were selected by coach Vlatko Andonovski to the USWNT 23-player roster.
The USWNT will travel to Europe to take on two high-quality opponents: Sweden and France. The U.S. will play Sweden on Sunday, April 10 at 10 a.m. (Pacific) in Stockholm. The match will be aired on FOX.
The U.S. will then travel to Le Havre to play France in the Stade Océane on Tuesday, April 13. The match will kick-off at noon (Pacific) and will be broadcast on ESPN2.
Andonovski will announce an 18-player roster that will suit up before each match.
