Portland Thorns announce partnership with FOX 12 and FOX 12 PLUS

Portland Thorns FC announced Wednesday that they have signed a multi-year partnership with FOX 12 and FOX 12 PLUS to serve as the primary local broadcaster for the club. It is the most comprehensive local TV package deal in club history.

“We are thrilled to expand our relationship with our longstanding partners at FOX 12,” said Thorns FC and Timbers president of business Mike Golub. “They have been with us from the very beginning and our new Thorns partnership is a terrific evolution that we know will be embraced by our supporters.”

FOX 12 PLUS will broadcast eight matches — including pre-match and post-match shows — in 2021. They will also produce exclusive insider content and features. The features and insider content will also appear on various newscasts as well as www.kptv.com, www.thornsfc.com and the FOX 12 app.

The first match on the platform will be Thorns FC versus NJ/NY Gotham FC on May 30. FOX 12 and FOX 12 PLUS will broadcast four home matches and four away matches throughout the season.
