Portland Thorns FC’s Crystal Dunn, Adrianna Franch, Lindsey Horan, Becky Sauerbrunn, and Sophia Smith have been called up to the United States women’s national team by Vlatko Andonovski. The 23-player roster will compete in the 2021 WNT Summer Series in Texas.
This is Franch’s first call-up since the 2020 SheBelieves Cup, where she picked up her fourth cap in the U.S.’s final match vs. Japan.
The USWNT will play Portugal in BBVA Stadium in Houston, Texas, on June 10 at 5:30 p.m. (Pacific). The U.S. will then play Jamaica in their second match, also at BBVA Stadium, on June 13. Kick-off is slated for 7:00 p.m. (Pacific). The U.S.’s final match of the series is against Nigeria. This match will be played at Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas, starting at 6:00 p.m. (Pacific).
These will be the final matches before Andonovski chooses the Olympic Team roster for the Tokyo Olympics. Tickets go on sale to the public on May 29. U.S. Soccer Insiders will have access to the presale on May 25.
