The NWSL released Friday morning the broadcast schedule for the upcoming regular season, and it features some exciting news for Thorns fans. CBS’s main channel will air Portland Thorns FC’s match against KC NWSL on June 20. It is one of three regular season matches that CBS will air. The NWSL Championship will also be on CBS and all four of the matches will be available on Paramount+.
Paramount+ is where you’ll find most of the matches, with the streaming service being the exclusive site for 82 regular season matches. 11 regular season games and three playoff matches will be aired on CBS Sports Network as well.
All matches will be livestreamed internationally on Twitch, and Twitch will also have 24 exclusive matches streamed through their site globally, including the U.S. The second match that will be streamed exclusively on Twitch is the Thorns’ regular season opener against the Chicago Red Stars on May 16 at 7 p.m.
When it comes to the Thorns’ 24 matches, the match against KC NWSL is the only one on the main CBS channel. 15 matches will be streamed exclusively on Paramount+, four will be on Twitch, and the other four will be on CBS Sports Network.
