Seattle Sounders FC and OL Reign announced on Thursday that their respective August matchups against the Portland Timbers and Portland Thorns FC will be an exclusive doubleheader matchday experience. The doubleheader will take place on Sunday, Aug. 29 at Lumen Field in Seattle.

The Thorns and Reign will play first at 4 p.m. PST followed by the Timbers and Sounders at 7:30 p.m. PST. The doubleheader will be treated as a single-ticket event, meaning one ticket will get you access to both matches.

The Portland Thorns will be fresh off of hosting the Women’s International Champions Cup, a tournament that sees them play the Houston Dash and one of Olympique Lyonnais or FC Barcelona Femeni. The WICC matches will be played on Aug. 18 and 21. The Thorns will return to NWSL regular-season action on Aug. 25 at home against NJ/NY Gotham FC before traveling to Seattle.

The Portland Timbers face a difficult road trip during this period, starting on Aug. 18 against Sporting Kansas City. The Timbers will then travel to Texas for their match against Austin FC before making the trip to Seattle. Portland will have to continue the traveling as the follow their rivalry matches with trips to Houston and then Vancouver.
