After scoring the lone goal in the Portland Timbers’ 1-0 victory over FC Dallas this past Saturday, Timbers striker Jeremy Ebobisse has been named to the bench of Major League Soccer’s Week 13 Team of the Week. It is the first time that he has earned such an honor this season.
In a match that didn’t feature a ton of offense for Portland until later in the second half, Ebobisse came through with a beautiful strike that earned the Timbers three points. After starting the season dealing with an injury, Ebobisse has started to round into form scoring three goals in 10 games (nine starts) for the Timbers this year. All of his goals have come in the past four matches for Portland.
A finish fit for a king.
