Feels like a lovely day to gut some fish, doesn’t it? The Portland Timbers are home at Providence Park for their rivalry match against the Seattle Sounders. It’s the first time the two teams have faced off against each other since May, a match that the Timbers dropped 2-1.
Obviously, the Timbers are hoping for better results this time, but the truth is that it won’t be easy. The Sounders have been playing without most of their squad all season long, and now they’re getting pretty darn close to full strength. The Timbers are getting there themselves, but Seattle is one tough nut to crack.
Hopefully we’ll get to see a bit more of Sebastian Blanco for this match. He played 45 minutes in the last match and he said he’s getting closer to 100%. Could we see him start in this one? That would be nice, but we’ll just have to wait and see. Let’s gut the fish, Rose City.
