The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) announced on Tuesday that the match between Portland Thorns FC and the North Carolina Courage scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 12 will now kick off at 12 p.m. Pacific. The match was originally slated for a kickoff of 11 a.m.
This isn’t the first time the Thorns have had matches with kickoff times adjusted. Back in May, the Thorns had their May 23 match against OL Reign moved from 1 p.m. Pacific to 3 p.m. Pacific as well as their Oct. 10 match against Kansas City NWSL changed from 3:30 p.m. Pacific to 2 p.m. You can read that original story here.
Before the Thorns have to worry about that, they’ll have to deal with the Washington Spirit for their next match. The two teams will face off on Saturday, Aug. 7 at Segra Field with kickoff set for 4:30 p.m.
