Portland Timbers 2 have headed up north for their first taste of the Cascadia rivalry as they get set to take on Seattle Sounders 2 in their fourth match of the season. This is a clash of two unbeaten USL sides and both will be looking to leave Starfire Sports Complex with the full three points.

Match Preview: "Jake Gleeson showed why the Portland Timbers have been so high on him with a Man of the Match performance to keep T2 in the match for at least the draw. So while the performance in the second half was awful, their resolve was not. On short rest and with a very intimate and unfriendly environment awaiting this team, T2 will need that resolve and a lot more to get out of the north with a point or more to stay at the top of the conference."

Preview Interview: "Ezra Hendrickson cares about winning. S2 has a slightly older, and much more experienced lineup than other '2s.' There are several players getting loaned down regularly and only one direct signing from the Academy to Sounders 2. It's also a squad that's willing to go all out in the attack and doesn't care if it uses the long ball, set-pieces or build-up play to get there. Everything is about getting possession and threatening as rapidly as possible."
