Final Thoughts
The Timbers are undefeated so far in the preseason and San Jose have yet to earn a single point, so this is looking like it could be a fairly lopsided match. The Goonies (is anybody not sick of that nickname?) never say die and, as we have seen time and time again, the preseason is pretty terrible when it comes to evaluating team's fortunes during the season, so it seems likely that this game will be much closer than the preseason records might suggest.
