Portland Timbers vs. FC Dallas Match Thread, Part II

The Timbers take on Dallas today and try to get their home form back on track.

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

The Portland Timbers take on FC Dallas tonight in yet another match that could boost the Timbers up the standings or see them dumped back toward the bottom of the table. The Timbers have a good match-up here against a Dallas side that have struggled since an early season push.

Here is all the information that you need for today's match:

Previews

Match Preview: "The Timbers have been a team on fire in the offensive end recently, averaging almost 2.5 goals scored per game over their last five matches as the team's attack has caught fire. The only team in MLS with a hotter attack is the Vancouver Whitecaps, who were helped past the Timbers by the penalty calls in the match between the two teams two weeks ago."

Preview Interview: "Portland will want to focus on offense, yes. This FC Dallas team has a grand total of one shutout so far this year. With the top three centerbacks possibly out injured this week, I don't expect the team to improve upon that statistic in Portland."
