introThe Portland Timbers continue their playoff run with leg 2 of the Conference semifinal against their arch rivals, the Seattle Sounders. Having posted a 2-1 win in their home first leg, the Timbers go in with a slight advantage, but knowing they will likely need to score at least one coveted away goal to counteract the one scored by Raul Ruidiaz last weekend.
Fortunately for the Timbers, their attacking core of Diego Valeri, Sebastian Blanco, and Jeremy Ebobisse are red hot and playing in the best form of the season. Meanwhile, the Sounders have a pair of injuries suffered in Portland’s first leg, making Chad Marshall unavailable for tonight’s game, and Cristian Roldan questionable.
Of course, the only thing that matters is what happens on the field, and only one thing is certain: This won’t be a match you’ll want to miss.
