The first completely customized kit in the National Women's Soccer League looks to be a significant upgrade over previous template kits provided by Beaverton-based Nike over the past two season, which has been bemoaned by Thorns' fans for their lack of creativity.
Primarily red with deeper red thorns over the body of the kit and white thorns as trim, the new kit will certainly be a hot item once it hits the shelves, while peeks of a secondary or third kit have yet to be released.
The Thorns host the Boston Breakers in their home opener this Saturday at Providence Park.
Meanwhile, the Breakers, Chicago Red Stars, Seattle Reign, and Washington Spirit have all released their new kits in recent weeks, each with a very different look..
Here are the NEW Boston Breakers 2015 home, away, and goalkeeper jerseys!
