The Portland Thorns have headed up north and are set to take on their regional rivals, the Seattle Reign, in tonight's NWSL match. With the Thorns still undefeated and the Reign stumbling out of the gate with two losses in their first four matches, the Seattle side will be looking to make a statement in this Cascadia rivalry match.
Previews
Match Preview: "Seattle (2-2-0, 6pts) is coming off a 2-0 loss to the Orlando Pride. The Reign, who have dominated the NWSL regular season the last two years, have already lost two matches in 2016, including the surprise 2-1 loss to Sky Blue FC on opening day. The loss to Sky Blue marked Seattle's first home loss since the team started playing at Memorial Stadium in 2014."
Preview Interview: "Reign opponents are swarming the midfield to disrupt the play of Kim Little. Now, Little is one of the best at navigating through tight spaces and getting out of pressure. But she needs teammates to make runs off her and give her support. That hasn't happened consistently this season. When it does, Seattle gets some great looks on goal."
