With T2 opening their season on Sunday against Real Monarchs, we will be profiling the 14 players officially signed to the T2 roster.

We continue with defender Rennico Clarke.

Number: 47
Position: Defender
Height: 6-4
Weight: 195
Born: Aug. 26, 1995
Hometown: Kingston, Jamaica
Last Club: Harbour View FC (JAM)

Rennico Clarke, 19, joins T2 from Harbour View FC of the National Premier League, the Jamaican first division.

Clarke made 7 appearances, scoring 1 goal, for Harbour View to help them finish second during the 2014 season.  Additionally, he made two appearances during the 2014 JFF Champions Cup, scoring on a penalty kick.

Internationally, Clarke has appeared for Jamaica's U20, U21, and has been called into U23 camp, most recently appearing with the U20s for the 2015 CONCACAF U20 Championships.  He also made three appearances for the U21s during the Central American and Caribbean Games in November 2014.

Primarily a central defender, Clarke also has the ability to push forward into the attack, and appeared last season as a forward for Harbour View, scoring his first goal in late October.

Originally a track athlete, Clarke began playing soccer after he was invited to play high school soccer after his coach saw him kicking balls and asked him to join the U16 team, and eventually making his way to the highest level of youth soccer in Jamaica, the Manning Cup, as he revealed in a Q&A session posted by T2.

A young, raw prospect, bringing speed and size to the center of the defense, Clarke has plenty of room to grow and will look to eventually make a similar jump as first team defender and fellow Jamaican Alvas Powell, a childhood friend of Clarke's.
