Match Gallery: Portland Timbers at Minnesota United

The Timbers lost their 6th straight road match to an improving(at home) Loons squad. It didn't start well for the Timbers as Amobi Okugo's own goal in the 7th minute spotted Minnesota a goal. A Diego Valeri PK would briefly tie the game until Christian Ramirez split Okugo and Roy Miller to put the Loons up 1. A fortunate deflection would give the Timbers hope but a goal from rookie Abu Danladi would see Minnesota through to the victory. Abu Danladi and Sebastian Blanco both saw red cards for some rough footsie. Roy Miller's yellow card and Blanco's red will keep them out of the match on Sunday versus Seattle.
