How to break a record, Diego Valeri style

Match Gallery: Portland Timbers vs. Atlanta United Roscoe Myrick — Shotboxer.com

Records were made to be broken, and in 2017, Diego Valeri has taken that to heart—first becoming the Portland Timbers’ all-time leading goalscorer, then the Timbers’ leading all-time single-season goalscorer, and finally breaking the Major League Soccer record for consecutive games with a goal in Saturday’s match against Real Salt Lake.

Now with 55 goals as a Timber, it would take all day to watch every tally from the Maestro, so instead let’s take just a few minutes to re-live Valeri’s most recent eight.
