Records were made to be broken and in 2017 Diego Valeri has taken that to heart. First becoming the Portland Timbers’ all-time leading goalscorer, then the Timbers’ leading all-time single-season goalscorer, and finally breaking the Major League Soccer record for consecutive games with a goal in Saturday’s match against Real Salt Lake.
