The Portland Timbers eeked out a 1-0 victory over the Colorado Rapids on Sunday, keeping their playoff hopes alive for another week. Fanendo Adi put the Timbers up by converting a penalty against Tim Howard and the side held on to win, giving Jack Jewsbury a proper send-off in his last home regular season match.
