The Portland Thorns hosted Western New York Flash for a Sunday afternoon playoff match that saw the Thorns go down two only to even the score in regulation. The Thorns would again go down 2 in extra time before Lindsey Horan pulled one back, triggering a Thorns onslaught that finished just a bit short with the scoreline stuck at 4-3 when the final whistle blew. Despite the loss, it was a match both teams could be proud of.
