Timbers announce no price increase for 2013 Season Tickets
Somewhat surprisingly given the low cost, but then again, not all that surprisingly given how bad of season we've had. Still, good news for season ticket holders!

From MP:
"Despite our affordable ticket prices and significant demand, the club will not be raising season ticket prices for the second straight year," Timbers president Merritt Paulson said. "This season has been frustrating for all of us and our decision to once again keep prices steady is in the best interest of our long-term relationship with our fans."
Also of note, the article goes on to say there are now over 7,500 on the STH waiting list. That is over half of the total season tickets even held (14,750). Will be interesting to see the renewal rate this year.
Alright guys, I don't believe I have to say this but, just in case, please do not submit anything racist, homophobic, sexist or otherwise not appropriate for even the younger Timbers fans.

If we hear the renewal rate is less than 90% I'll be flabbergasted.

It was 97% last year
So 14,307 renewals out of 14,750 STH’s. Losing 7% would be a loss of 1,032 people in addition to the 3% from last year; that’d be a huge drop.

Will STHs be capped at 14,750?
I only ask because of next year and how it would impact away allocation for Cascadia.

I would assume so
I think the additional capacity for STH’s came from the opening of the seats above the TA. There’s no more seats to open so I would assume the cap will still be 14,750.

Second straight year? Not where I sit.
My tickets in 111 were more expensive this year than last. Not a big deal, and I’m glad for the freeze this year, but still.

From the article
as the club did not raise prices on more than 80 percent of season tickets prior to its second MLS season in 2012.

Yeah, I was just responding to Merritt's quote that "we will not be raising season ticket prices for the second straight year"
I guess I’m just not good at the Merritt outrage.

He was probably directing that more towards the TA people who are dead set against him
